Marvin Gardner is a Blacksmith Demonstrator out of La Grange, GA. He does a lot of fairs and festivals and needed a promo video to send to fair directors. We interviewed Marvin durring a recent trip through Utah. After completing the promo, we got this email back from Marvin and his wife Beverly.
“We are BLOWN AWAY by the way you picked and chose just the right clips that match the hand motions with the interview as well as the most expressive of our apprentice clips we shared with you. The music is JUST PERFECT as well. You really got to the heart of what we’re about. To God be the Glory!
I wish you could’ve seen our faces as tears formed in both our eyes as we watched this genuine piece of pure artistry. What a great gift you have. So glad you’re getting to use it! Can’t wait to send it to the Fair Managers…your timing is PERFECT. We’re 10 days from the first show of the Fall.
Love and so much appreciation we don’t have words to express.
dmgFilms loves to be part of a clients marketing goals. Good luck Marvin and Beverly. Hopefully the video will be a tool in helping you reach the success you are looking for!
Just finished this video for East Zion Development. We had our family reunion at East Zion last summer and can’t wait to go again this year. We’ve already booked our stay. Awesome homes in a beautiful location. KSL and East Zion Development are teaming up to offer 50% off lodging. I would highly recommend it. I will try to post the link to the KSL deal as soon as it’s running.
dmgFilms shot the Desert Hills High School vs Pine View High School varsity boys soccer game tonight (15Apr11). Crazy exciting finish. Thought I’d post my favorite highlights. Enjoy.
Full game will be posted shortly.

dmgFilms shot Crippled Stripper at Firehouse (St. George, Utah) on December 12, 2009. If you are a band, performer, public speaker, teacher, trainer, etc. and are looking for an affordable alternative to one camera productions, dmgFilms has the answer. This video of Crippled Stripper’s “Blues Shot” is an example of a two-camera production wtih standard definition cameras (Panasonic DVX100b). We have one camera stationary at the back of the room that has a static shot on the stage and the other camera is roaming around the venue getting alternative shots.
Our goal with these two camera productions is to create something more interesting to the viewer than a single camera perspective and to keep it very affordable. Especially for musicians who don’t have money to burn.
This video was shot and edited by Mike Gardner.
