I happened to be at Paul Twitchell’s booth at the 2012 St. George Art Festival when he was given one of 5 Council Choice Awards. It was Paul’s first year at the festival and he was excited to be given the award. A few minutes after receiving the award, a customer bought one of his prints for around $6,000. Not bad. I have been shooting this Art Festival since 2008 and am always amazed at the diversity and quality of the art. The St. George Art Festival will be March 29th and 30th this year (2013). I’m am working with the organizers to create a virtual festival of this years event that will be able to be seen on YouTube. I’m excited to be involved in this project. Hope to see you there!

Virtual Expos, Shows and Fairs

DMG Films is creating youtube channels for expos, fairs, festivals and shows. It’s like a virtual expo where you can see a short video from each of the vendors/exhibitors. Online video has been proven to increase credibility, boost consumer conversion rates and drives organic search results. It’s also a great way to archive your event, keep the show going 360 days a year and provide added value to the vendors.

The St. George Art Festival began in 1980 and has grown to one of the largest art festivals in Southern Utah. The great weather during Easter weekend has made St. George, Utah and the St. George Art Festival a favorite destination for over 30,000 visitors every year.
This TV commercial was produced by dmgFilms in St. George, Utah. The footage was shot at festivals from 2008-2011.
Cake Dive at The Ultimate Wedding Showcase 2010 – St. George, Utah

The Cake Dive is always a highlight at The Ultimate Wedding Showcase. 5 Brides are randomly selected and are required to till through a perfectly good wedding cake in search of an engagement ring that is donated by JK Jewelers. The whole day was filled with everything wedding and The Ultimate Wedding Showcase is a must if you are looking to tie the knot in Southern Utah. I really enjoyed meeting all the brides and rubbing shoulders with all the vendors. A real classy show and special thanks to Debbie Peysar for a fun and successful day!
